Peg is moving on . . .

Dear friends,

Peg returned from her Memorial Day demonstration with some chest pain. That evening she started collecting liquid in her lungs.

Over the next 24 hours we were able to dry up her lungs and eliminate that horrible breathing rumble . . .

But Peg is definitely closing down.

She has mentioned joining her husband and daughter. We regularly exchange last hugs several times each day. She is ready to go and looking forward to it. In the meantime, with the help of hospice, we are keeping her comfortable.

If you would like to spend a little time with her please feel welcome to come over to Ocean Gallery. If you can, please give us a call first.

Sali and I (jomcintire@bellsouth.net) are setting up a core group of folks to plan her memorial celebration. So far I have selected John Linnehan (metanoia1@earthlink.net 504-1004) from the Florida Peace and Justice Coalition, Dora Lovell (doralovell@aol.com 814-6417) from the local UU, Rabbi Mark Goldman (goldmanmark@bellsouth.net 794 4133) from Temple Bet Yam. Food is being coordinated by Annie Bobrowski (avbster@gmail.com 461 3188).

If you would like to work with this core group, please let them know.
The group is meeting at the UU at 17:00 on Tuesday June 3.
