Dear GFP member, and friend,

On Monday evening, December 27, at 7 pm, please come to meet Lynn Lewis.

She is a very attractive, articulate, and dedicated organizer of the homeless in New York City. The catchy logo of her work is "Please don't talk about us. Talk with us."

Her objective is "to provide the space, resources and opportunities for homeless New Yorkers to take leadership on the issues that impact them, to develop a critical analysis of the root causes behind those issues, and develop an agenda for systemic change."

I believe this is a fairly unique and very important goal, but I am looking forward to your discussing it with her and with others in our city who are concerned about our policies and our effectiveness.

I know this is a very busy time for everyone, but I'll provide ligh snacks as an added incentive. My address is Ocean Gallery Condo, 4600 A1A South (opposite Sea Gate - second entrance coming from the north - Unit 21 Las Palmas. My phone is 471 1986.

PS A brown bag lunch meeting will be at Habitat for Humanities office at noon on Tuesday 28th. Lynn would like to talk with social workers and care givers, and anyone else who prefers a day time meeting.
